Pam Burney and Karen Medicus have worked in the animal care and protection field for more than 30 years. Even though their professional careers are dedicated to helping animals nationwide their creative energy knows no bounds. In 1997 they formed their own company, Gypsy River Trading, and began selling their animal-motif jewelry at animal care and protection conferences across the United States. The Remembrance Bead© design is an extension of Pam and Karen’s commitment to recognize and honor the special role animals play in our lives.
